PAOLO BELLINI

Co-Director & Head Instructor

Paolo has more than thirty year’s experience in the skiing industry, teaching and coaching in the United States, Europe and Australia. He holds a diploma of sports psychology, sports nutrition and is a qualified fitness trainer. Paolo provides a holistic approach to snow sports, incorporating mental and physical health and fitness.  He is a member of APSI (Australian Professional Snow Sports Instructors) and ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association).

Since first witnessing the indoor slopes in action in the Netherlands, Paolo has been focused on bringing them to Australia.  Paolo is the definition of dedicated - first in pouring his heart and soul into the physical build and fit out of Vertikal, meticulously crafting every detail of the ski centre to re-create snow “culture” here in Canberra, and second, in his genuine interest and drive to get the best out of his students.   Have a spare hour to talk about Ted Ligety's spectacular racing technique? Paolo’s your man.  After all, Paolo was born with a tiny pair of skis on his feet.

ADELAIDE MOURD

MANAGER

While Adelaide is a wiz at communications, especially social media, she has been instrumental in establishing Vertikal’s brand identity. Adelaide is the definition of professional – she holds the reins at Vertikal and is the person you will likely meet at the front desk asking about your day, and your coffee preference.  Adelaide’s attention to detail, genuine dedication to her role, and superior customer service skills is the cornerstone of the warm, engaging environment we are cultivating at Vertikal. Adelaide has embraced challenges and turns her hand to anything new – getting particularly excited when she balances our Xero accounts!  Apart from being a highly skilled artist- photographer…she’s happy to banter about India, yoga and her penchant for Toblerone.
